The Nesting Place by Myquillyn Smith- Book Review

I have wanted to read this one for a while. I am not going to lie, almost bought it twice…but as a Book Look Blogger I decided to wait and see if it would come back as a possible book to review through them. And it did. *happy dance* It was only available as a digital download, which is fine but I love REAL books. I was excited to have it on my iPad and look at all the pretty pictures in color!

IMG_5365In The Nesting Place, Myquillyn describes her homes, all 13 over the past 18 years. We should be friends cause my 7 moves in 7 years is starting to look like never ending renting. Which isn’t that bad of a thing. Everyone has their seasons, it’s not that bad to be a renter. We have the flexibility to move at the end of our lease and have lovely limitations to work through.

As a renter, and having lived in homes I loved, and homes I didn’t love. This book is golden. Not only is it practical advice from one renter to another but it’s about embracing your season, and making your house, apartment, condo into a home.

I highly recommend this book to everyone. Even if you own your home and don’t need interior design or decorating advice Myquillyn speaks truth about your soul’s home. Grab a copy & get comfy making your house a home, HERE
