Our Family visits this Holiday Season

After Thanksgiving we had 2 back to back weeks with family!

Travis’ mom came the Friday after Thanksgiving, we made a thanksgiving chicken and all the trimmings for her and we explored parts of California we had never been too. We visited Pinnacles National Park and had a great time hiking and climbing through caves, we drove up to Jamestown, Sonora and Murphy’s California, and we also went to The Presidio in San Fransisco and had dinner at Tacolicious! Not long after I took her back to the airport I was again in Sacramento retrieving my mom and dad!

When my parents were here we decided to go back to The Presidio on a Saturday when more items were open. We visited Fort Point, The Golden Gate and mom and I went on a hunt for a San Fransisco Starbucks Mug. The weather was perfect and we all had fun being tourists. As fun as it was to go and do a lot with Travis’ mom, we spent half our time with my parents chilling at our apartment, watching football, putting up decorations and cooking. We did visit Yosemite on Monday, and tried out a new trail towards a Sequoia Grove. The map said it was a one mile hike, what it didn’t tell us was it was a one mile hike down hill. Although the mile back to the car was hard, it was an awesome experience. We saw Yosemite falls, lots of mule deer and some amazing trees. I think next time we will take mom and dad to the Redwoods, those were amazing!

We truly loved having our families come spend time with us! Asher for sure loved all the extra attention and the toys (thanks mom and dad)!
