Today on Wear It Wednesday, I am giving you 4 great ways to wear a Little Black Dress (LBD). Professional/Formal, Business Casual, Casual and my favorite way to wear it! It wasn’t until recently that I got the most amazing Little Black Body Con Dress from Old Navy on the Clearance rack, best $6 I have ever spent. Now I know it is summer and who wants to were black in summer? But there is always an occasion where you can’t go wrong showing up in a LBD. 

Little Black Dress 4 ways

Formal- 

I am calling this formal but it could easily go more professional with the addition of a blazer. For this look add nude heels with the Sonrisa collar necklace (I recommend something bright for a POP of color), simple earrings, dainty bracelet and a simple classic clutch.

Business Casual-

I consider this Interview appropriate. When interviewing for positions as an Interior Designer it was always important to look professional but show your artistic flare. For this add a more classic necklace piece, with colorful cardigan, a pair of medium drop earrings, belt at waistline, flats from The Root Collective, a cuff like the  Tagua Seed Bracelet from Noonday and a satchel.

Casual-

The best part of a LBD is you can wear it anywhere at any time. For a stylish running errands look add a drape cardigan, stud earrings like these from Noonday, square or rectangle scarf, tote bag and ankle boots. (Don’t have ankle boots? try sneakers for an edgier urban look) 🙂

My favorite way to wear a LBD

When going to work at Starbucks, I like to represent my profession and impress my favorite Baristas. So I pair my dress with my multi layer bead necklace, bar drop earrings, a vegan leather cross body bag and a drape cardigan for when I get cold from my Frap. 🙂
