After 3 months with no Fix, and it feels like forever might I add, I scheduled a Fix to celebrate my one year anniversary as a Stitch Fix Stylist.
My 10th Fix, was spot on. I, of course, styled myself and I think I finally nailed my own personal style. I say this not to worry my clients, but sometimes styling yourself is much harder than styling my clients.
I started this Fix with a new pair of jeans. I have been in desperate need of new skinny jeans for about a year. My first pair are 2 years old and from my 2nd Fix and starting to stretch out, so if you get a pair of Just Black Adorra skinny jeans, they last trust me. I wanted cotton over tencel this time, I like the weight and texture of real denim and went with the Mavi braided pocket petite skinny jeans. Yep, I got petites. I have long legs for a 5’2″ girl…and these 29″ jeans are true ankle jeans on me. They have a true mid rise and are actually a little big on my waist, so I use a belt. Perfect for spring and summer with Toms!

My second item in my Fix is the Colibri blouse by Market & Spruce. I have loved seeing this blouse in inventory and on clients via Pinterest and have been dying for this top myself. I love this large bright plaid for the spring. And my closet is desperately needed some pattern.

Everyone needs a spring jacket, or if your looking to round out your look then add a layering piece as a 3rd piece. The Market & Spruce Chaplain jacket is a great piece, I got the unlined one and sized up as I prefer to add lots of layers. It has a removable hood and the cinched waist is flattering to my figure. I did need to roll the sleeves, so petites don’t be discouraged if you have to roll the sleeves!

Everyone needs a new bracelet to stack with and the Twin Skye bracelet from 31Bits it great for stacking or wearing on it’s own. I wasn’t sure about the color palette but the navy, cream, gold and mint beaded a perfect for spring and well year round as well. I love the gold and mint to pop out from my sleeve of my jacket.

A typical Fix only comes with one accessory but I had to have 2 this time around. Especially when it’s a Sseko clutch, made with real sheepskin leather by women in Ethiopia working between graduating high school and starting college! You can wear this bag 2 different ways as a cross body or remove the strap and use as a clutch. I’m slightly in love this this piece, and recommend it to anyone that loves a small cross body or clutch for everyday use!

So all in all, this was easily a 5/5 and an expensive one for my budget. But totally worth it, I got exactly what I needed for the spring season and I supported not 1 but 2 ethical fashion companies supporting women in 3rd world countries. I encourage you to visit their websites and request these companies and pieces in future Fixes!
