Finished Reading: The Moth presents All These Wonders

A collection of stories given on stage in front of a live audience about bravery, fear and life. Each story is put into a specific section of the book with a general theme, and each story leaves something with you.

Travis and I love reading, love listening to the Public Radio Exchange and this seemed like a book we would both enjoy and learn from. I admit, I cried more than I want to admit when reading these stories. Laughed harder than I have in a while and loved the variety of experiences from a WW2 survivor to a teenager reconciling with his grandfather weeks before his death to an unusual modern family arrangement about shared custody with a dog.

I don’t know how these people got brave enough to stand on stage and tell their stories. But I can tell you I’m better for it. And I hope one day my story leaves someone with the same feeling.

Overall, I highly recommend this book full of non-fiction short stories. I promise it will be harder to put down than you think. Grab a copy for yourself, HERE

I was given this book for free in return for an honest review.
