At 1:00 in the afternoon at FBC Nacogdoches, I stood in the vestibule of the chapel waiting for the music to start. My dad turned to me and said, you ready? I said yeah and he said show me your game face, and we made stupid angry football faces at each other as the music started. It was a small wedding. I’m not sure how we managed without Pinterest but we did. Our little gathering went from the chapel to the fellowship hall then we ran off to our honeymoon, a flight from Houston to Portland.

We’ve had so many adventures since then. Florida, Galapagos Islands, Israel, Greece, UK, Ireland, Paris! Moving from Texas to Colorado, then even further west to California. I’m so thankful to be on this journey with you. I never quiet understood how connected we could be, still individuals and yet very much one. I’m so thankful for you, your wit, your affection, your perspective.
I look forward to the next 10+ years & can’t wait to see what adventures are to come!
Congratulations on your 10th anniversary we love you
Mom and Dad 🙂
