Wear It Wednesday | 2017 Fall Trends Report

I don’t know about you but fall is like the best season to have existed in the entire year. I’m a summer baby so when I was little I was all about those long summer days, fireworks, and wearing a swimsuit 24/7. Now, I’m not going to lie give me cool days, dark wash denim, and all the PSL via IV fluid drip beginning September 1.

Embroidery

The designers have spoken and floral embroidery is the it detail for the fall. The fun thing about this trend is you don’t technically have to buy something new to rock this style. Head to the craft store and get some iron on embroidery patches to spruce up your favorite jacket or jeans!

Go subtle with tone on tone blue embroidery on denim or embrace this trend on a button down top or a bell sleeve knit top or an embroidered jacket.

Velvet

Via Make Me Chic

The first of 2 textural trends this luxurious fabric is perfect for elevating a classic staple. Find velvet boots, camisoles, and shoes. Take this trend head on with duster length jackets, dresses, & culottes.

Faux Fur

Apparently, we didn’t get enough of this trend last year and those faux fur vests are going to be poppin’ this fall, take your classic plaid to the next level with a lavish faux fur vest or jacket. Perfect over a little black dress with embroidered booties- see what I did there? The reason this of the moment look rocks is the 2 trendy elements have ‘room to breathe’ between them, with the always timeless little black dress.

Fall Pantone Colors

I’m not going to lie, I’m glad to see the ballet pink/millennial pink/blush trend isn’t going away any time soon. It’s a great neutral for my closet seamlessly incorporating it’s self into all the seasons! Also this Autumn Maple looks like my new BFF…

Which of these trends are you most excited to try?
