Wear It Wednesday | 10 Fall Staples to wear this season

Fall is the perfect season to par down your wardrobe for something simpler and equally versatile. Here are my picks for a classic and put-together fall staples collection to wear with the items already in your closet or as a versatile capsule wardrobe.

This set feels edgier than I typically wear together but they all coordinate and complement each other when worn together, whether it’s 80 degrees or 50, this fall inspired neutral capsule will transform your closet and inspire new outfit recipes!

  1. Black Jeans- timeless & versatile for work or weekend
  2. Cargo Jacket- usually a cotton blend easy to layer with
  3. Sweater- perfect for those ‘cooler’ fall days
  4. Chambray- a closet staple and lightweight layer for warmer days
  5. White tee- a basic top perfect to layer with
  6. Cardigan- an open front open lightweight layer
  7. Flats- simple, elegant, day or night
  8. Ankle Booties- great for cooler days, and an elevated look
  9. Dress- one piece ensemble & go
  10. Scarf- adds depth & usually a print to the ensemble you’ve assembled

Outfit Recipes, I swear by:

White tee + Cargo Jacket + Black Jeans + Ankle booties
Dress + Chambray (tied at the waist) + Scarf + Flats
Chambray under the Sweater + Black Jeans + Ankle Booties
Dress + Cardigan +  Ankle Booties
Dress + Scarf + Flats (a great warm fall day look)
White tee + Cardigan + Black Jeans + Flats

How would you incorporate these styles into your fall wardrobe? Would you wear them on their own as a complete capsule or in addition to the things you already have? Happy Styling! xo, Shelby
