It’s December 1, and do you know what that means?
It’s Dressember!
While, I’m SUPER excited about it today, I know by the middle of the month I’m struggling. So, follow along with me ALL month on Instagram, HERE, to see my outfits and my updates on the blog on the 13th & end of the month recap! It’s going to be a cold one, so I’ll need some encouragement most days simply to get out of my sweatpants and cozy sleep top.
It’s my first Dressember outside of California, and I ordered my dress before I knew we were moving here. be prepared for lots of layers and possibly dresses over jeans cause a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. And that is exactly the point of Dressember, that women and girls will do what it takes to survive. It’s not right or fair that women are exploited all over the world for simply being female.
One of my all time favorite quotes is from the Kimmie Schmidt into,”Females are strong as hell.”
And that’s something I truly believe. We are strong as hell, we are mothers, sisters, career women, homemakers, gardeners, crafters, artists, engineers, doctors, cooks, problem solvers, athletes, and the final creation of God in the garden of Eden.
