I like to post on or near Thanksgiving about thankful and gratefulness. Especially when the biggest shopping day of the year is the next day. SMH.
I’m so thankful for being back in Colorado, it really makes me feel better. Strange how places can do that too us. This month we are celebrating one year in Colorado.
I’m grateful for my 2 jobs, although sometimes it seems like I am being pulled in a thousand directions. I love my ability to do critical thinking and organizing for one and creativity in style and writing for the other.
I’m thankful for the change in seasons, seriously one of my favorite things about Colorado. When something ends, yes it’s a wee bit sad but I’m so thrilled about the new season ahead and everything it has to offer. I hope I approach the seasons of life with the same perspective and energy.
I’m grateful for friends willing to listen to me whine, cry, and vent when things aren’t right. Or we have a hard week or month. When it seems like the world is crashing down, they step in and remind me I am not alone.
I’m thankful for coffee with steamed milk. No really.
I’m grateful for the opportunities I have, Lord, don’t let me ever be ungrateful for this. And to use this privilege and opportunity to help others. Otherwise, what is the point?
I’m thankful for medications & therapy. While I also believe in holistic healing, sometimes meds are what the body actually needs. And therapy because talking is a powerful way of releasing things inside.
I’m grateful for seeing both my family & my in-laws in the last 12 months. Grateful for their support and patience while we heal and grow.
