Valentine’s Gifts from GlobeIn

I struggle with Valentine’s day, I mean it is a ‘Hallmark’ holiday and I say that with love because my mom works for Hallmark. While the ethical and sustainable community seems to be leaning towards a minimalist lifestyle, I’m still in full support of Valentine’s gifts. But what do you give an ethical or sustainably minded significant other?

GlobeIn works with a variety of artisan groups from around the globe and provides customers with handcrafted fair trade and ethically made gifts for holidays or a monthly subscription box.

They are running Valentine’s sale now through February 14th, with 14% off their Valentine’s day collection! There are hand-blown wine glasses, fair trade chocolate, decorative baskets, and cute cards on recycled paper with eco-friendly dyes! What else could you possibly need?!

Or sign up for the Monthly Artisan Box, the theme for February’s Premium Box Theme is Masquerade perfect for celebrating Mardi Gras! Hand-blown green-rimmed glasses from craftsmen in Mexico perfect to take your favorite cold beverage to the street or your backyard! (These would be a great addition on Cinco de Mayo!)

When signing up for the Monthly Box you’ll be delighted with an ethically made package each month to enjoy or share with friends and family while providing safe & meaningful work to artisans around the world. Each Artisan Box is filled with at least $70 in value and includes 4-5 handmade items by artists from around the world.

What are you giving your Significant Other this Valentines? Do you plan ahead or buy something the day of?
