I’m not a mom, but if I was I would want one of everything on the list I’m about to share with you. Actually, I do want one of everything on this list, these aren’t mom specific gifts. I did however focus on women owned and run businesses to celebrate and uplife women globally this Mother’s day.

Ethical & Fair Trade:
livefashionABLE – working to employ at risk and undermployed women locally in Nashville as well as around the world, including Ethiopia & in Mexico. Beautiful jewelry made in the USA, denim made in a fair trade factory in Mexico with Cone denim, leather goods from Ethiopia. What ever you pick for mom, wife, or sister from ABLE you won’t be disappointed and she’ll love it. With jewelry, leather bags, and apperal to choose from you’ll find something for every woman on your list!

Sseko Designs – focuses on employing high achieving high school graduates during their gap year between HS and University. The goal is that these young women will go on to greater things than Sseko but Sseko loves to be apart of the journey when there are so few options for women and young girls in Uganda. They also employ women who provide for their families, this female centric approach gives these women a safe and purposeful work. And when you host a Sseko Designs party through a Fellow, you are also supporting a woman here in the US.

Globe In – a premium subscription service that has a new theme each month with goods sourced from around the globe. Perfect for the woman, who loves exciting exotic items for her kitchen and home, including decor!

shop wearwell – a style membership site that provides members a custom styled selections monthly by a human stylist of ethically made, fair trade, or sustainable fashion to suite their lifestyle and budget. (I am a stylist with wearwell!)

USA Small Biz:
Jamilia Collective – a brand focused on the employment of Syrian Refugee women living in San Diego. Organized and managed by Megan Reynolds  jewelry maker in her own right, they create beautiful swavarski crystal jewelry and has a direct impact on her makers lives. I have been friends with Megan for 10 year now, and I recently bought a few pieces from her including a custom stick pin in my favorite colors to put on my work tote, although I initially bought it to wear with scarves. They ship quickly if you’re running behind on buying gifts.

Daisy Faye Designs – US made sewn goods inspired by real life in fun whimsical patterns to add color to your busy life. I recommend the key fob if you’re having trouble making a decision, functional and beautiful so mom won’t loose her keys again!

Abundant Affirmations – affirmation cards for the entreprenuer, mother, and everyone else. Personally, I use her self-worth card set, and I love them. Pull a card each day and shift your mindset.

Kim Art Designs – customized embroidered hoops and patches, it’s probably too late to request a custom item but reach out the Kim and see. I love her unique and beautiful styles, I have a coral flower patch from her that I had sewn on my utility jacket and I always get compliments on it!

Espwa The Shop Forward – for Christmas my sister gave me one of their 4 Favorite Things totes and I have to admit, it’s a GREAT bag. The totes and printing happen in the US and is owned by women who love to support and give back. Pick mom’s 4 favorite things, and I promise that while she loves you, wine or coffee probably deserve to be on that tote. 😉

Simplified Planner – choose from daily or weekly layout, pick a cover pattern and a few accessories. This woman owned business based in Florida is fresh, fun, and perfect for busy women. The gorgeous and sturdy planner to keep as a keepsake for years to come. Ideal to help her stay organized and remind her to give margin for spontenaity and enjoy the little moments.
