Wear It Wednesday | Styling a Tank Top this Summer

I easily get into a style rut in the summer, because it is so easy to just not get dressed or wear a comfy tee and work out shorts. So, I’m sharing a few ways to elevate your go to tank on hot summer days, with my Namara Tank from last summer by Elegantees.

Tank Top: Elegantees Shorts: The North Face Sandals: Sseko Designs Necklace: Purpose Jewelry

Classic Tank Top with Shorts
When it is hot outside, sometimes, you just need a classic look perfect for being active outside with the people you love. I love these cool linen shorts from The North Face, and because they are a neutral khaki they look stunning with the bright boysenberry tank top from Elegantees. I finished the look with my black Sseko Crossover Slides & a silver necklace from Purpose jewelry.

Tank Top: Elegantees Skirt: Old from Old Navy Sandals: Sseko Designs Bag: from Vietnam

Dressy Skirt
I have this chambray skirt that I bought from Old Navy years ago, at least 10 years. I wore it when I worked at Baylor back in Texas. I love this skirt for summer because 1) pockets 2) chambray. Since my tank top is more fitted the A-line cut of the skirt balances the fit. I finished styling this look with my Sseko Ribbon Sandals and my watercolor chiffon ribbons.

Wide Leg Pants
I also styled my tank top with my new wide leg pants, they are ever so slightly off white, buttery soft, and oh so stylish. I decided to tuck in my tank top and flaunt the extra high rise, and finish the look with T-strap sandals and my Sseko long suede brave necklace.

It’s July, which means we are in the heart of summer and I’d love to hear how you will plan styling your tank tops this summer!
