I have reached the point in my search for style to know what I love and what is a stretch for me. Boho inspired look always seem so cool and chic while also seeming a little bit beyond my style. When MexiCali Blues invited me to collaborate with them I was super excited to stretch style and my wardrobe with their eclectic globally inspired pieces!
I call this look my “Urban Farmer” look. These pieced overalls from remnant fabric is so colorful and each pair is completely unique. I love these super lightweight overalls for caring for my patio garden on hot summer days. Paired with a coordinating tank and of course I am bare foot! (Look my tomato plant is getting so big!) I am holding my lavendar which just started blooming.
I also wear my new overalls with my fitted bodysuit and paired with my chaco sandals for going out to the farmers market and taking Asher for a walk at the park. These are very bright and colorful for my style and a fun way to add a pop of color to my summer outfits! I recieved these Playful Patch Overalls in a size small and they fit my 27″ hips perfectly. While the inseam may seem short on my 5’2″ frame, I have a 30″ inseam so if you tend to wear petite length denim these will be perfect on you! Personally, I love the cropped style.
I love these pants and this rayon tank for summer mornings at home, perfect for watching Hamilton and drinking coffee or listening to Taylor Swift’s folklore while checking my plant babies, while my critters soak up the morning sun. (Not pictured but totally acurate.)
The Ahimsa tank is a one size tank that is buttery soft and flowy, and it coordinates perfectly with the breezy Free flow pants in a gorgeous boho teal print. I love wearing these pants in the mornings when it is still a little cool, even in the summer, for shorts. I can sit comfortably on my couch cross legged while enjoying my coffee and in the evenings I feel stylish when Asher needs to go out one last time each evening!
These fun and flowy styles remind me of the cool styles of Southern California, I can’t wait to enjoy these fun styles into the fall. You can bet I’ll still be rocking these cool styles with a few extra layers come October!
