Spring/Summer 2024 Crochet Projects

If you don’t know, I love to crochet. I learned 2 years ago when a popular ethical fashion brand came out with a granny square bag that I HAD to have but wanted it in my favorite colors.

Ever since then, I’ve been crocheting. I’ve made a few bags, scarves, cowls, shawls, a sweater, tops, wash clothes, and baby blankets. Mostly everything I make is for me, close friends, or family because it takes a long time, and I love to enjoy the fruits of my labor. So here are a few things I’ve made this summer and perhaps a round-up of my recent crochet projects can be a regular occurrence on the blog!

As I wrap up these crochet projects, I'm already looking ahead to what’s next. In my queue for autumn are a few baby blankets I need to finish so I can deliver them in person this winter, along with two cowls, my first cardigan, another short sleeve top, and some washcloths. Of course, that list is totally subject to change depending on my mood—because who knows what new patterns or yarns will catch my eye! Crochet has been such a fun and rewarding journey, and I can’t wait to see where my hooks and yarn take me next.
