Wear it Wednesday | Summer Dresses

I remember as a little girl, absolutely loving wearing dresses and also being equally frustrated by them. As an adult, I have a new appreciation for dresses especially in the summer. They are fun, feminine, and can keep me significantly cooler than shorts. Here are a few of my favorite summer dresses.

Yellow & White Stripe Elegantees

I love wearing yellow so this was an obvious choice for me. It has little cap sleeves over the shoulders for a bit more coverage and a nice wide rounded neckline. Wearing this dress with sneakers and my favorite Rockies cap is a go to on sunny summer days when I am out and about. Or I can wear it with sandals for a dressier less on-the-go look!

Green June Dress from Liz Alig

You can never go wrong with linen. The June dress from Liz Alig, has a timelessness about it making it a new favorite for me year round. I wore this dress to the top of Pikes Peak in December with Wool Tights and of course other layers. In the summer, I love wearing it with my huarache sandals and a structured woven bag.

Floral Wrap Dress from KINdom

I daydream about wearing this dress on the beach. One day I will. With wide butterfly sleeves and a true wrap, this glamorous floral printed dress with gold is by far one of the fanciest dresses I own. I love the true wrap, highlighting my waistline & the fact that there are no unnecessary fasteners. I often pair this dress with my clogs as it feels like it requires a smidge more height than my go-to flats.
