Hello there, lovely souls! I'm Shelby, your dedicated Slow Living and Slow Fashion Stylist and Blogger. My heart beats for empowering women worldwide through fashion that not only dazzles the eye but also nurtures our precious planet.

Hailing from the heart of Texas, my creative journey began with a passion for Interior Design at Stephen F Austin SU (Go Lumberjacks!). After earning my BS in design, I embarked on a whirlwind of adventures, from Waco to Colorado and central California, before finding my way back to the enchanting Colorado Springs, my cherished haven.

My artistic pursuits guided me through working in interior design, but it was my time with Stitch Fix that truly awakened my purpose. Determined to empower women through their unique style, I grappled with the ethics of the fashion industry. Intensive research and soul-stirring conversations led me to embrace a slower, more thoughtful fashion ethos—one that respects the origins, creators, and materials of our garments. After my three year tenure with Stitch Fix, I proudly served as a stylist with Wearwell, an ethical fashion subscription service, for five transformative years.

During my moments of tranquility, you'll find me immersed in my garden and crafting culinary delights with fresh herbs for my beloved partner. Crocheting, hiking, and exploring the wonders of National Parks are cherished pastimes, shared with friends and family. When not engrossed in matters of style or tending to my garden, catch me working as the Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager at a historic motor lodge in Old Colorado City, volunteering with my local Service Adventure Unit through Mennonite Mission Network, or losing myself in the lyrical magic of Taylor Swift. (Swifties Unite!)

Beyond all this, I am a wanderer at my soul, traversing the US to reunite with family, wander scenic trails, and absorb the vibrant energy of new places.
